So I really hurt my cross something begonia, iron cross maybe? Had really cool textured leaves. I think I can cut off the dead spots and downpot? Need advice.
May have underwatered leading to the situation. One water per month, way too little.

Are you a necromancer? That’s so dead
All hail redsunglasses8! The first necromancer of our times!
I don’t see that coming back, but obviously it needs more water than once a month in that small container. Maybe the plant gods will show mercy.
Worth a try. Looking forward to the glow up pic you post in 6 months. 🤞

O yea the pot is salvageable it looks great actually
I just had to go far down your page to make sure you’re not my aunt Heidi in Michigan lmao, your houses are so similar 😅
Okay, seeing the comment with the salvage pieces it does prove there’s life left! The OP photos do look pretty fracking dead tbh. Without the dead stuff it looks salvageable! Looking forward to the glow up! ❤️
Lookin like the prince of death over here from Elden ring

plants are resilient, i think you can do it
Maybe if you cut it back? I’m invested🧐
There’s still green, there’s still a chance. 🤞
He dead.
As long as the rhizome is firm there’s a chance! Also check roots for rot, they should also be kinda firm even though they are thin and delicate, if they are mushy at all then they are rotted and the likelyhood of saving is low
If the rhizomes are still healthy, it should resprout no worries

I thought I was on r/plantcirclejerk for a second there
